Literature Text
She is beautiful just like her roses
But they all have thorns
Yet still he imposes
She forewarns...
These roses have different colors
Each with a different meaning
One more diverse than the other
Oh, how she wishes he stops intervening.
Her heart and roses are so two-faced
An insincere red rose that is so ravishing
It portrays her bold passion and ugly rage
Nonetheless, it remains captivating
He pricks his finger upon it's thorn, he's trap in a merciless cage.
A hollow yellow rose, seeming almost hypnotic
It depicts her cheerful energy and cynical nature
However, he sees it as an narcotic
He pricks his finger upon its thorn, unaware of the danger.
A deceitful blue rose looking too blissful
It illustrates her peaceful tranquility and frigid demeanor
It's brittle state keeps him hopeful
He pricks his finger upon its thorn, he's hit by a dreadful fever.
A hypocritical purple rose glances threateningly
It represents her immaturity, she's confined to a infernal prison
It comes forth with its thorns menacingly
He pricks his finger upon its thorn, he's infected by its poison.
A faithless green rose grows tense
It characterizes her vitality, it's fragrance tightens her throat
It cowers and raises it's defense
He pricks his finger upon its thorn, could it be an antidote?
A dismal grey rose lacks concern
It delineates her indecisiveness, she becomes unfeeling
It shows mild aggression, when will he learn
He pricks his finger upon its thorn, what is it that she's concealing?
A misunderstood black rose, be wary, its something to behold
Its shows her mystery, should he dare to flee
It sneers, her heart turns cold
He pricks his finger upon its thorn, dead he surely be.
Her heart and roses are so two-faced
He missed that one rose throughout the violence...
That was tucked away from his sight
A hopeful, untouched white rose remains silent
She holds onto it with all her might.
But they all have thorns
